Two tobacco stores targeted in separate attacks in Melbourne

Two more tobacco stores have been targeted in separate attacks across Melbourne overnight.

Emergency services first responded to a ram raid and failed arson attempt at JB's Smokes & Gifts on Paisley Street in Footscray just after 3am.

Police believe a car rammed the front security roller before the occupants attempted to set the store on fire.
