'Catastrophic' conditions forecast for Victoria as bushfires continue to burn

Victorians are bracing for "catastrophic" fire conditions on Boxing Day, with authorities warning that hot, dry, and windy weather could significantly increase the fire danger.

The state is officially in the 'Fire Danger Period', as a fire in Grampians National Park has now grown to more than 40,000 hectares.
